2:34a Normally I'd ask what movies came out this year that you guys liked...buuuuuut I know that not much came out this year that was any good (at least in U.S. theaters), so I'll simply ask which movies you saw this year (overall) that you really liked (on dvd or otherwise). And now that I'm writing this post, I realize I really haven't seen much of anything this year that was much good, so I hope some of you will have some decent recommendations.

9:42p Am I Going Crazy?  Recently I've been having some serious nightmares. I keep dreaming about a house fire, and it keeps jolting me awake. I'm losing serious sleep over this.  Today I had a problem regarding my attic. My Dad and I had been out Christmas shopping, and when we came home I noticed our attic light was on. When I went inside and opened the attic door, I found that the light was off.  My Dad had noticed it too, but we just brushed it off as an electrical problem. We've had issues with the light going off before.  A couple of hours later I was in my room when I heard the attic light switch flick. It's a distinct sound, and I heard it and thought I was just hearing things. I felt really, really weird, though. Something told me I really needed to know what had caused that noise. So I got up and went into the dark hallway.  I could see light under the attic door.  I was creeped out, and so I called for my Dad. I was thinking someone was in my house. When we went back to the door, the light was off. I was freaking out. We both went up there and found it empty. There was no one there. Nothing.  I think I'm going crazy because of my lack of sleep, but I'm still really, really freaked out.  It's been a strange day.

8:26p A couple of questions. I haven't really had anything happened that has spooked me enough to come to you all but recently this happened one night: I was sleeping and then all of a sudden I randomly woke up like I had been woken up by someone. I was attempting to get back to sleep when my door opened. I figured oh it might just be my cat or my mom turning off my tv for I tend to forget to shut it off before I sleep. And then I felt something on my legs. It wasn't heavy like my cat but it felt like someone touching them. I turned around and there was nothing there. This is when i freaked out. But I calmed myself down and tried to think of logical reasons why this could have happened. My cats can usually open my door but really errked me was the fact that I swear my door was 100% closed. Usually they can just push it open but I think I heard it unlatch, like the knob turned, and then open. Also, my cat CAN open doors I think are totally closed so I'm not totally convinced this is paranormal yet. Also, when I felt the leg touching, I immediately thought maybe it was my dad who passed about a year and a half ago. My mother thought the same when i told her. But what if it isn't? I mean, who or what else could be here? Is my dad trying to contact me? Tell me something? If so, is there anyway I can communicate with him to figure this out? thank you in advance EDIT: I took a part out because I felt like I needed to. it wasn't important.

4:01p It's Alive! horror zine Hi guys, I posted here almost a year back about a horror zine I was putting together. Unfortunately life got in the way and it never got made. Well, it's getting made now. It's called 'It's Alive!' and it will probably be a one-off zine, hopefully out by February. It's very much in the early stages at the moment, but if anybody would like to contribute that would be great. As I'm only just getting started on it, I can't give an exact description of what I'm looking for, but I'm hoping it will turn out to be a fun and witty zine for horror fans, full of film reviews (classics, b-movies and modern), interviews and a few other horror related features such as reviews of ghost walks, the scariest places to visit in the UK, scary stories etc. Here's one of my film reviews that will be going in, to give you an idea of what to expect.
